Aunt Tillie Goes to Sea benefits Sussex IV day hospital

SUSSEX CORNER-The Basement Players Inc. a community theatre group in its 25th season, presents the family comedy Aunt Tillie Goes to Sea over the next few weeks.
A cast of 12 local actors and actresses set sail for Hawaii on the ocean liner S.S. Hazard in a story that takes a light-hearted look at marriage and relationships.
Cast members are Faith McMillan, Ryan McMillan, April Hatfield, Dave Wagstaff, Joyce Griffiths, production manager Glen Kerr, Alvina Dykeman,Clifford Hayes, Jenna Cummings, Megan Bonnell, Colby Smith and director Linda Vail. Hayes also looked after promotions for the production, Elaine Hayes and Joan Kerr assisted the production as prompters.
Thanks to a touching letter from Dave and Elaine Moss, all proceeds from this year's play go to the Sussex IV Day Hospital, according to Faith McMillan of the Basement Players theatre group.
The show was dedicated to the memory of McMillan's sister Eleanor Margaret Hawkes, who passed away from cancer March 27, 2004, and to David Moss, who was in palliative care at Sussex Health Centre and passed away March 22.
The play opened March 13 in Springfield at Belleisle Regional High School and has already played in Sussex Corner and Norton.
The play has three acts and unless otherwise stated, begins at 7:30 p.m.
